This web site is provided by Stand Up Paddle SA. The use of this site is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below. Please read them carefully. Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Your placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Personal information

Stand Up Paddle SA will not divulge any of your personal information to any third party. Any information provided by you to is protected by our Privacy Policy. You agree that any information provided by you can be used for the purpose for which is was intended, as well as contact from us with information relevant to your visit from time to time.

Return policy

In the event where there is a warranty issue or fault with your product, Stand Up Paddle SA will organise the return of the damaged or faulty product and you will incur no further costs (within the warranty period for the product). This excludes products where you have simply changed your mind or damaged them through inappropriate usage.


In the event that a warranty claim needs to be made on any goods purchased from Stand Up Paddle SA, simply contact us either by phone or email, or bring the faulty product into the shop as soon as you can.  Then we can inspect the product and assess whether we believe it will fulfill the manufacturer’s warranty requirements.

A warranty will typically cover defects or damage caused by workmanship or materials for a specific time period only.  Warranty conditions will vary by product type and manufacturer.  Warranty commitment typically does not cover any other claim conditions such as;

1) Damage or defects caused by impact with any material or object.

2) Damage or defects caused by, collisions, abuse, misuse or accidental damage.

3) Damage or defects caused by transport, loading, unloading, dropping, out of water handling or similar.

4) Damage or defects caused by exposure to temperatures over 70 and under 0 degrees Celsius.

5) Damage or defects caused by nature, such as earthquake, fires etc.

6) Damage or defects caused by alterations or modifications.

7) Damage or defects caused by repairs.

8) Damage or defects caused by usage of the product after a claim is reported.

9) Damage or defects caused by flat landings.

10) Damage or defects caused by the use of a larger fin than specified.

11) Damage or defects caused by storage of the product in closed, damp conditions (for example a wet boardbag).

Stand Up Paddle SA has no control over manufacturer warranty periods, nor can we control repair periods and cannot advise what they will be. We will however do everything we can to ensure your faulty item is handled as quickly as possible and that you are informed throughout the process. In cases where you have returned goods directly to the manufacturer, Stand Up Paddle SA cannot be held accountable for repair periods or communication from the manufacturer.

Changing or cancelling an order

We may ship the goods on the business day in which an order has been placed.  However, if you do wish to change or cancel an order, get in touch with us as soon as possible.  If the goods have not left the store, we can process the cancellation or change.  If the goods have left the store, Stand Up Paddle SA reserves the right to refuse order cancellation or charge a cancellation fee should we be able to request the return of the package from our delivery service.  In the event that you notify us of a request to change your order after the items have been shipped, we reserve the right to charge all associated delivery costs to return and resend goods.

Product delivery

Deliveries leave Stand Up Paddle SA on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons between 3pm and 5pm.  Whilst we can’t guarantee it, we aim for your board to arrive within 4 to 5 working days of placing your order.

We currently update the stock on our website manually.  Occasionally, a product that is displayed as being in stock may no longer be available.  If the product you ordered is not in stock, we will make all reasonable efforts to obtain the item and get it shipped to you within 10 days.  If we are unable to get your product to you within 10 days, we will contact you to discuss options.

Stand Up Paddle SA will only deliver your goods to the address stated on your order. This is the contact delivery address and cannot be changed once the order is processed. Stand Up Paddle SA takes no responsibility for orders shipped to an incorrect or invalid address and is not liable for any loss associated.

Depending on the size of your delivery and your location, Stand Up Paddle SA will arrange delivery which may include, road, rail or air transport.  Deliveries will either be made door to door, or will be available at your local transportation in your town.

If you are unavailable when your order is delivered, a contact card will be left explaining how to arrange another drop off, or details of where to collect your delivery. If a delivery is delayed due to circumstances outside of Stand Up Paddle SA’s control, we will do our best to keep you informed. If your address is hard to find, or you live in a remote area, please include as much detailed information as you can in the order. This will help reduce any possible delays.  We cannot arrange for you to be contacted by phone or email prior to delivery.  If an uncollected delivery is returned to Stand Up Paddle SA, we will not pay additional delivery costs. Stand Up Paddle SA will contact you to arrange payment for re-delivery.

Stand Up Paddle SA will arrange freight on your behalf at your own expense and at your own risk. Our preferred freight company for online purchases will provide you with a reference number to track your order. Every single product is examined and ensured is defect free before leaving the store. We take all precautions to ensure our fragile items, such as boards and paddles, are packaged adequately before leaving our shop.  We check all products for defects before they are shipped.  All stand up paddle boards are wrapped in bubble wrap, with cardboard placed around the rails and at the nose and tail.  However, after a product leaves the store, Stand Up Paddle SA is not liable for any damage that may occur during freight.  Please ensure you inspect the board upon delivery before signing off with the driver.

The delivery times provided by Stand Up Paddle SA are estimates only. Stand Up Paddle SA will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries.  In the event that multiple items are ordered, part deliveries may be made where stock is not available. All reasonable attempts to notify you will be made using the details you provided. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you acknowledge all information set forth relevant to our shipping.

Credit Card Payments and Verification

Orders may be subject to pre-authorisation checks to ensure sufficient funds are available and to confirm the validity of the payment method. In the event of an authorization check, the total amount of the order will be frozen on your account and this amount is taken when the order is dispatched. Authorisations will appear as pending charges on your card, but you will only be charged once for a single order when it is dispatched. Orders cancelled before shipment will still have this authorisation held. Some credit cards may be subject to a $1 authorisation check, which will be released back to you.

Some orders may be subject to small charge verification before they are approved for shipment. In these cases a small amount between $0 and $1 will be held on your credit card and you will be asked to confirm this amount to validate your payment. This is not a charge, but an authorization, which will be released back to you.

Damaged goods

Please be sure to inspect your goods as soon as you receive them and contact us immediately if there is any damage. We can arrange repairs or replacements for you. In most cases, simple photographic evidence will be required.

Discontinued products

Occasionally products are discontinued. If this happens we will be unable to supply you with these specific products.  However, we will suggest appropriate, similar alternatives to suit your needs.


All prices quoted on this website are in Australian Dollars.  Prices are subject to change. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, Stand Up Paddle SA shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.

Stand Up Paddle SA shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.

If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Stand Up Paddle SA shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
